My quest of the Season

This weekend was monumental! I made beer with my sweetheart from scratch... and as with all complex recipies, you learn more doing it the first time than in all the preparatory reading before hand. MY beer making friend says it will be drinkable, but my second bacth I assure you all will be delishious. If I ever get good at making beer, I will have a beer tasting party for all who desire to join.

The Hokies won another football game and it does feel pretty nice to be undefeated. unfortunately, the redskins lost, but you know someone has to lose. So my quest: i came up with it last night, there is a park near my house that is designed for urban walk through and greenspace. it's nice and reminds me of a similar space in alexandria. I plan to clean up this nasty trash strewn lot, and make it fit again for human habitation. First I'm going to neaten up the paved walkway and then I will make an additional walking trail that is not paved. Finially, I hope to do something a little more permanent like a teatherball pole? I plan to sign my work in decorative color. I've been tossing this around, the hope of making an impact and having something to work on. It sounds like a good place to start to me.
